Almost 50 years later after Title IX was enacted, young people who are expectant and parenting are still experiencing outright sex-based discrimination and are stigmatized so vehemently that many don’t advocate for the rights afforded them in federal and state law. Map 2 Success, a project focused on increasing supports for expectant and parenting young people, wants to change the experiences for all young people who choose to parent their child(ren), go to school and work, and live their fullest life. Join us to hear how we all are responsible for upholding Title IX and Maryland law so these young people, and our communities, can be amazing!
