Protect Your Rights: For Youth Who Are Pregnant and Parenting

2020

In the United States, students who are pregnant or parenting have rights, protected under Title IX. As a partner on Map 2 Success, a project of the Baltimore City Health Department and Maryland Department of Health, Healthy Teen Network developed an infographic to help students learn more about these rights. Available in poster, wallet card, and social media posts, the infographic explains excused absences and other rights for pregnant and parenting students in simple language, for students and staff.

Spread the Word: #ProtectYourRights #TitleIX

We encourage sharing! If you want to help get the word out to students or staff, please do! The poster and wallet card are here to print and use. Share on social media with the set of graphics and captions. If you’re looking for print copies, we may have some wallet cards and/or posters available (please ask!).
